New measures in force (from March...

The Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia issued a Decision amending the Decision on Necessary Epidemiological Measures Restricting Assemblies and Introducing Other Necessary Epidemiological Measures and Recommendations to Prevent the Transmission of COVID-19 Diseases through Assemblies. The decision is as follows:

- ban on holding all public events and gatherings attended by more than 25 people in one place

- A maximum of 10 people from a maximum of 2 different households can be present at private gatherings and ceremonies

- public events and gatherings and ceremonies of all kinds can last up to 22.00 hours

- A maximum of 25 people may be present at funerals, last farewells and urn layings, condolences to the bereaved must not be expressed through close contacts, and the cemetery administration is obliged to monitor compliance with anti-epidemic measures.

- limitation of working hours for bakeries and shops for bread and bakery products until 22.00

- ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages in the period from 22.00 to 6.00

- Restriction of catering facilities and family farms that provide catering services in the form of food, beverages, beverages and sweets can be served only on open terraces or other open service areas, in strict compliance with prescribed epidemiological measures and special recommendations and instructions of the CNIPH, working hours can be determined from 6.00 to 22.00

- suspension of wedding ceremonies

- the working hours of casinos, slot machine clubs, and payment places for betting can be determined in the period from 8.00 to 22.00, with a ban on providing catering services on their premises

- strict adherence to anti-epidemic measures in gyms and fitness centers

- suspension of organized dance schools

- suspension of workshops, except for children's playrooms and workshops that can be held in strict compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures

- suspension of all amateur cultural and artistic performances, programs and events, and rehearsals of amateur ensembles, groups and choirs, including church choirs

- ban on food and drink consumption during a cinema screening

- suspension of fairs and other forms of economic and tourist events or events where products are sold, exhibited, or displayed

- Prohibition of all competitions except for clubs competing in the 1st and 2nd rank of competitions in the senior competition and in the 1st rank of competitions in the junior competition at the national level in team sports, as well as clubs competing in individual (individual) sports in a senior sports competition in team club competitions at the national level in the highest rank in the league competition system and competitions of categorized athletes in individual sports (individual) and national level athletes preparing for European and world competitions according to the list which, at the proposal of the Croatian Olympic Committee, Croatian Paralympic Committee and the Croatian Sports Association of the Deaf, approved by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports

- indoor training can be held only in such a way that during training there is no contact between athletes (eg playing football, handball, basketball, martial arts, etc.) and in compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures and special recommendations and instructions of the CNIPH

- permitted sports competitions and training may be held only without spectators and with strict adherence to all prescribed epidemiological measures and special recommendations and instructions of the CNIPH, and the organizers are obliged to ensure that all athletes and necessary technical staff adhere to prescribed epidemiological measures and that sports facilities indoors are exceptionally used only for the purposes of permitted activities

- foreign language schools are obliged to perform their activities in strict compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures

- Driving schools can theoretically hold only online or otherwise to maintain long-distance contacts, driving lessons can last a maximum of 45 minutes with mandatory measurement of body temperature before entering the car, a break between two candidates must be a minimum of 10 minutes for ventilation and disinfection of cars and records of all participants in driving lessons must be kept

- mandatory use of face masks or medical masks outdoors when it is not possible to maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5 meters

- obligation of tenants, building managers, employers and representatives of public institutions to regularly disinfect all common areas (handrails, elevators, work surfaces, toilets, etc.)

- a recommendation that religious rites be broadcast whenever possible through radio, TV programs or in another way that will enable believers to attend a religious rite without coming to religious facilities.

Catering facilities may deliver or deliver food, beverages, beverages and sweets in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures in one of the following ways:

- personal collection in front of the entrance to the catering facility without entering it

- delivery from the catering facility with your own delivery vehicle

- delivery from a catering facility on the basis of a business cooperation agreement concluded between the caterer and a third party (legal or natural craftsmen), which are registered and entered in the Register of Food Business Entities - the so-called "drive in" method.

However, exceptionally from the anti-epidemic measure "-restriction of catering facilities and family farms that provide catering services in such a way that food, drinks, beverages and sweets can be served only on open terraces or other open service areas…", catering facilities from groups " Hotels ”,“ Camps ”and types Pupil or Student dormitory or Akademis from the group“ Other catering facilities for accommodation ”are allowed to serve only guests who use the accommodation service in them, ie pupils or students.

The anti-epidemic measure "-indoor training can only be held in such a way that during training there is no contact between athletes (eg playing football, handball, basketball, martial arts, etc.)…" does not apply to clubs that compete in the 1st and 2nd rank of competition in senior competition and in the 1st rank of competition in junior competition at the national level in team sports, as well as clubs that compete in individual (individual) sports in senior competition in team club competitions at the national level in the highest rank in the league system of competition and training and competitions of categorized athletes in individual sports (individual) and national level athletes preparing for European and world competitions in accordance with the list approved by the Croatian Olympic Committee, Croatian Paralympic Committee and Croatian Sports Association of the Deaf Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

In addition, the necessary epidemiological measures referred to in this Decision shall be determined until 15 March 2021.

Therefore, this Decision essentially enables:

- operation of catering facilities and family farms that provide catering services in such a way that food, drinks, beverages and sweets can be served only on open terraces or other open service areas

- indoor trainings in such a way that during training, with certain exceptions (eg 1st and 2nd rank of competitions in senior competition), there is no contact between athletes (eg playing football, handball, basketball, fighting in martial arts and dr.)
