International partnership meeting within the project "3DandVRforVET" was held on March 26th 2021 in a virtual edition.
Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić opened the meeting with a welcome speech and presented the program of the event. Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Innovation and Transfer Technology Assoc. Prof. Valter Boljunčić emphasized the importance of participating in vocational education projects, which are ultimately very important for industrial development.
Ivona Peternel, Head of the Office for Partnership and Projects, expressed hope that the project consortium will gather physically in Split in July 2021 at the fifth international meeting, in accordance with the epidemiological situation in Croatia.
She praised the partners' efforts in delivering the interim project progress report, which was highly graded by the Agency. The central topics of the meeting were also the planning of the 5th international project meeting and dissemination event in Split at the end of July, which aims to promote the results of the project to the public.
The partners discussed the development of the intellectual result 2. Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić announced that IO2 proposes the development of guidelines for 3D and VR platforms for e-learning and appropriate interactive tools. The platform will be created using the open WordPress platform that allows the building of the personalized learning environments. It will be user-centered, proposing the creation of personal profiles through a simple application process and enabling tracking of learning progress and achievement. The platform will use some gaming techniques, which will make the learning experience appealing to ensure an innovative approach and as a strategy.
Kristina Hlavati Bertoncelj, expert associate at the Office for Partnership and Projects, spoke about financial management and quality management. Asooc. Prof. Sven Maričić presented the dissemination activities of the University, which aim to promote project results and strengthen teh total project impact.
