"How to successfully communicate your projects" was the topic of this year's Thematic Meeting for Erasmus+ beneficiaries and the European Solidarity Force. The virtual annual meeting, held on June 7th 2022, brought together numerous participants from across the educational vertical from preschool to higher education and adult and youth education.
The aim of the meeting was to inspire and empower the participants of this organization for better and more effective communication on funding projects under the Erasmus+ program and the European Solidarity Force. Participants had the opportunity to get a clearer picture of how to contribute to the successful communication of priorities and projects under both programs, and during the event were distributed as useful manuals and materials on successful communication of EU-funded projects.
The introductory speech was given by the Assistant Director of AMPEU Ivana Puljiz. The introduction to the meeting on the topic of short trips to contractual obligations and priorities was taken over by Ivana Erceg Matijašević, Head of the Department for Analysis, Evaluation and Dissemination of EU Program Results at the Agency. Meeting She presented to the participants the most common dissemination activities and measures that we often encounter in projects with an emphasis on ensuring accessibility and planning an environmentally friendly and inclusive event. Also, participants were instructed to use the EU emblem correctly.
Furthermore, the participant introduced the importance of careful planning of communication activities and the distribution of tasks to communication expert Boško Trbojević, longtime director of the Department of Communications and Public Relations at Coca-Cola HBC Adria. By presenting concrete examples from socio-political life, participants were able to become aware of how to think correctly about project communication with a clear vision of the target audience and what the project aims to achieve. In that sense, the basics that make a good campaign are also presented.
The second part of the program was dedicated to presenting examples of good practice and experiences of successful beneficiaries of the Erasmus + program and the European Solidarity Force. Associate Professor Sven Maričić from the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula presented his experience of implementing the "3DandVRforVET" Erasmus + project aimed at introducing new technologies (CAD modeling, 3D printing and virtual reality) in vocational education. As part of the project, a 3D model of the Pula Arena was created, which won two innovative awards at international competitions due to its inclusive character and the application of the model for the visually impaired and blind. Dan Špicer, business director of the Croatian Scout Association, who won the sympathy of the general public and the media with his green projects, presented an example of successful communication of the eco-project "Be my water" at today's event. The prestigious award of the European Parliament - European Citizen for the Boranka campaign speaks in favor of that.
The little secrets of digital marketing on social networks were presented to the participants through a one-hour workshop by an expert from the Media Val agency, Tea Tolić, after which the participants were inspired to create targeted and attractive content. project website via social networks.
Finally, an interview was held with an experienced television journalist Ivana Dragičević from N1 television, who briefly clarified the understanding of the media perspective when it comes to public communication of EU projects.
