Kick-off meeting of the BRIGHT...

The initial meeting of the international project consortium BRIGHT was held on March 19th 2021. The project has been approved for funding for a period of three years under the Erasmus + program, Key action Strategic Partnership. The total project budget is EUR 187.480,00 EUR, and for the University of Pula the budget is 30.667,00 EUR.

Vice Rector for International Cooperation prof. Dan Mandru (UTCLUJ Napoca) opened the meeting with the welcome speech. Prof. Razvan Pacurar moderated the meeting. The partners presented the partners organizations and participated in presentation about the project management. The central topic of the meeting was planning and organization of work on the intellectual outputs. On behalf of the University of Pula, Assoc. dr. sc. Sven Maričić, General Project Manager and Kristina Hlavati Bertoncelj from the Office for Partnership have participated.

The aim of the BRIGHT-project is Boosting the scientific excellence and innovation capacity of 3D printing methods in pandemic period. The project specific objectives are related to teaching resources and methods for professors coming from the Higher Education institutions that are interested to find ways in providing their students relevant knowledge, skills and competences in the field of 3D printing methods used for producing medical parts in pandemic period.

Project Coordinator is Universitatea Technica Cluj Napoca - UTCLUJ NAPOCA (Romania), and project partners are Juraj Dobrila University in Pula (Croatia), Univerzitet u Nišu (Serbia), Slovenska Technicka Univerzita v Bratislave (Slovakia), Politechnica Poznanska (Poland), BIZCOM s.r.o. (Slovakia) and B.M. Plast d.o.o. (Croatia).
