Within project William three-days online workshops were held via Zoom and Adobe Connect, due to COVID-19 crisis. First workshop „Intercultural dimension of internationalization at home was held by Ivona Peternel, PhD, Head of the Office for partnership and projects.
Discussion in the context of cultural differences in communication with students and staff between different universities was held. Some of the main topics were the imporatance of knowing different cultures and practices when working on the international projects. Three dimensions of the „intercultural“ were presented: economic, social and geographical.
During discussion time, partners have presented their own experience, especially in the context of the COVID-19 crisis.
Leena Saurwein and Claudia Pauzenberger from business school „Management Center Inssbruck“ (Austria) held the workshop on the next day with the topic of „Cultural Influences and individual perception“ in the context of reacting to unknown and uncertainty situations. Through various practical examples discussion was held among participants.
Next day was dedicated to workshop in the thematic area of protocols and guidelines with specific accent on the creation of the promotional brochures.
