Pristupačnost
The Horizon Europe annual conference, titled "Development of the Research Managers Network," was held on June 15, 2023, at the Hotel Academia in Zagreb. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes. This first annual national conference was primarily dedicated to research managers at higher education institutions and research institutes involved in developing and implementing EU-funded projects, as well as anyone interested in the topic.
Conference participants were introduced to opportunities for research managers at both the national level and within the Horizon Europe program, alongside the national support structure for research managers. Additionally, the activities of the Ministry of Science and Education and initiatives at the EU-level relevant to the work of research managers were presented. The event provided participants with an opportunity to learn about initiatives, projects, and calls aimed at capacity building for research managers, while also facilitating the exchange of experiences and best practices.
Project manager Dr. Ivona Peternel presented the internationalization efforts of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, alongside the initial results of an EU-wide questionnaire focused on professionalizing the role of research managers within the European Research Area.
