Department for Research/Arts, Technology and Entrepreneurship performs all professional and administrative tasks related to scientific research, including:
- Scientific Programs and Projects – Support in the application, implementation and management of scientific projects at the national and international level.
- EU Projects – Consulting and administrative assistance in the preparation and implementation of projects financed from EU funds.
- Professional and Development Projects with the Economy – Improving cooperation between the academic community and economic entities and developing innovative solutions.
- Technology Transfer – Support in the transfer of knowledge and technology from the academic to the business community.
- Relations with Entrepreneurs – Actively encouraging cooperation with entrepreneurs and creating links between scientific research and economic development.
- Artistic Activity – Administrative support for projects in the field of art and proposing measures for the improvement of artistic creativity.
- Cooperation with Local and Regional Administrations – Active correspondence is maintained, and partnerships are developed with local and regional bodies in the fields of science, research, and the arts. Special emphasis is placed on providing comprehensive and full support to scientific activities and university operations, further strengthening collaboration and contributing to the community.
There are two key offices within the Service:
- Office for Research, Art and Scientific Development – provides administrative support for the application and implementation of scientific and research projects, helps in finding funding and encourages the development of scientific and artistic activities within the University.
- Office for Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship – coordinates activities related to the application of artificial intelligence, the development of innovations and technologies, and encouraging cooperation between the academic community, the industrial sector and administrative bodies at the local, national and European level.
