The program brought together international students and professors from partner institutions, including participants from University of Zenica, and was held at the New Campus in Pula through a structured program of lectures, workshops, field classes, and practical work.
During the program, participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Marko Kršulja, who supported the implementation of the activities and warmly welcomed all attendees. Throughout the program, participants attended professional lectures on sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and the circular economy, as well as practical workshops, a study visit, and teamwork focused on developing project solutions. Through field teaching at Calucem Ltd, participants had the opportunity to apply their acquired knowledge in a real-world environment, while special emphasis was placed on an interdisciplinary approach and international collaboration.
The final part of the program included presentations of student projects and a public exhibition of the results, further encouraging knowledge exchange and the practical application of acquired competencies.
Finally, we would like to thank all participants, lecturers, and partners for their contribution, engagement, and exchange of knowledge that marked this program. Special thanks are extended to the hosts for their hospitality and support in organizing the event. We believe that the connections established, the knowledge gained, and the shared experiences represent a valuable foundation for future cooperation and the further development of sustainable solutions in the construction sector.
