Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, within the Erasmus+ project BIOMEDIX – Biomedical Innovations through Digital Transformation of Additive Technologies and Knowledge Exchange, successfully organized a Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) on 9 and 10 December in Pula.
The event brought together representatives of partner institutions from Latvia, Spain, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Germany, and Belgium. During the first day of the meeting, key project activities were carried out, including the presentation of the Interim Report, strategic planning, a review of progress within Work Packages WP3 and WP5, as well as discussions on dissemination activities and joint publications. The partners also agreed on the plan for the upcoming workshop to be held in Cluj in March 2026.
On the second day, dissemination and impact activities were conducted at the Pula Medical School, including a BIOMEDIX workshop for students and a demonstration of the MIMICS software in collaboration with the partner Materialise. Through the workshop, students had the opportunity to observe how a part of the human skull can be fully reconstructed within approximately ten minutes using two software tools. Participants were actively engaged in a question-and-answer session with students, followed by a final working meeting and the conclusion of the remaining project activities.
The BIOMEDIX project continues to develop innovative digital educational tools, and strengthen international cooperation in the field of biomedical engineering. The transnational meeting in Pula marked an important step toward the successful implementation of the project’s objectives.
